Jared Boyer received his AA for Graphic Design from Carroll Community College in 2001 and his BS for Illustration from Towson University in 2005.
Jared's work was featured at "The Year of the Fan: The South Park Experience.” He was selected by pop artist Ron English, curator of the show, to have work exhibited at the 2011 San Diego Comic Con and the 2012 MacWorld Convention.
In October of 2011, Jared provided freelance illustration for Mirada/Motion Theory, a Los Angeles based production company from the award-winning film director Guillermo Del Toro. Jared provided conceptual illustrations and designs for a worldwide advertising campaign on behalf of Jockey Apparel.
In August of 2010, Jared and Zeno Muhl were asked by Shot In The Dark Comics to adapt a short story by Nicholas Grabowsky, Looks Like A Rat To Me, into a graphic novel. This title was released at an artist and author signing during the 2010 Baltimore Comic Book Convention and was widely available throughout the US.
Jared had horror illustrations inspired by the stories of H.P. Lovecraft appear in the 2011 issue of Inhuman Magazine from Centipede Press.
In the July 2006 issue of Autograph Collector Magazine Jared was featured in the "Up And Coming Artists" section for a graphic novel adaptation of Richard Matheson's Nightmare at 20,000 Feet.
Jared currently works as an Art Director and Illustrator based in Westminster, MD
